Empowering Veterans

Standing with our customers to advance Veteran healthcare, VMS is committed to empowering Veterans to thrive through the VA’s Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) programs and initiatives. By integrating community support into VA care, these programs help deliver more personalized and compassionate services for Veterans. Our field sales team collaborates directly with VA CDCEs nationwide, supporting initiatives from food and clothing drives to coffee bars and transportation assistance, to meet Veterans’ immediate needs.

Local Challenge

Centered on caring for our St. Petersburg, Florida community, the VMS Local Challenge team builds impactful partnerships that sustain critical programs and services for those with the greatest need. This employee-driven giving initiative provides meaningful opportunities for employees to contribute their time, talents, and resources alongside colleagues, family, and friends. Together, these collective efforts support local organizations, strengthen the community, and create a lasting impact where it matters most.

Volunteer Time Off (VTO)

Through VMS’s Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program, employees receive 16 hours of paid time each year to volunteer with organizations that matter most to them. By investing their time and talents, employees have the opportunity to create meaningful change in their communities while supporting causes they are passionate about. VTO empowers employees to make a difference wherever they feel called to give.

Employee Match

Advancing our mission through our greatest asset…our employees.

We believe in our employees and the causes they support. VMS’s Employee Match Program generously matches contributions 10:1 (up to $4,000 per employee) to eligible nonprofits allowing employees to multiply their support and expand our giving reach. Contributions are not restricted to a specific cause offering our employees the freedom to continue growing our giving footprint to areas most near and dear to them.
